Historian Ronald Takaki states that “the story of Asian Americans is woven into the history  of America itself.” By this, Takaki refers to the pattern of immigration, contribution, and  resistance against discrimination that has faced many ethnic groups. While certain notable  Asian Americans receive notoriety in history books or in American popular media, many  who have played important roles in our history remain unknown to large segments of  society. This exhibit seeks to highlight some of these individuals.
